Bonnie is the Director of the Sacred Cow Studio. She has been a student of Yoga for 28 years. She began teaching in 1982 in New Mexico. She has studied, taught workshops and classes in America, Italy, Mexico, Bali and Australia. She primarily studied Iyengar Yoga for over 20 years. Her love and curiosity of Yoga and the rich historical philosophy and teachings led her to investigate other teachers and styles of Yoga while Iyengar formed the framework of her journey.

For the last 5 years she has been led by the teachings of Anusara Yoga as taught by John Friend, most notably to practice Yoga as a way to develop a deep connection to the heart and the importance of community. She has merged the teachings of studies with some of the finest teachers today. Her Hatha Yoga teaching style focuses on good alignment, strength, working with the energy of the body, using soft observation as a way of creating a sense of lightness, flow and a sense of good health and well being. It is her core idea as a teacher that, "Making a commitment to Yoga is to have the richest life possible. The more you practice the more you want to practice and overtime the beauty of this ancient Art and Science unfolds in every area of our life."

Bonnie holds a Bachelors degree in Anthropology and Biology from New Mexico State University. She has a Certificate of Herbology, a teaching certification from the International Yoga teachers Association. She completed 4 years teacher training with Senior Intermediate Iyengar teacher Peter Scott. She regularly returns to America to continue her study of Yoga .She has completed several courses in Yoga therapeutics, and meditation courses including Mastery of the Heart with Dianna Vela. She is currently attending a course with meditation Teacher Camille Maureen based on Camille's work, Meditation Secrets for Women. Ongoing learning and personal and professional development is an important part of her teaching ethic.

Bonnie opened The Ipswich Yoga and Relaxation Center home of The Sacred Cow Studio in January 2009. Her intention is to create a peaceful, healing, beautiful space from which community can grow. She lives in eternal gratitude to the all the students that are making this dream come true.
